Not Lingard: Italian giants keen on to sign out-of-favour Man Utd midfielder in January

Serie A giants, Inter Milan and Juventus are both reportedly interested in securing the services of Manchester United playmaker Donny van de Beek during the January transfer window.

The Netherlands international has struggled to make his mark for the 20-times English champions since arriving from Dutch giants, Ajax in September 2020, founding back of the net just once and providing only two assists in 39 games.

Van de Beek showed his frustration when he was not selected in the Champions League game with Villarreal last week, and the 24-year-old midfielder was also an unused substitute against Everton in the league on Saturday.

The Dutchman will allegedly press for a January departure, having played just 141 minutes of football for the Red Devils at the start of the 2021-22 season.

According to Calciomercato, both Inter Milan, Juventus, are keen on the Dutchman, with the former midfielder in particular ‘very attentive’ to his situation at Old Trafford.

The report suggests that the Old Lady will ‘wait for interesting signals’ from the Red Devils as the English outfit consider placing him up for sale at the start of 2022.

Donny Van de Beek is believed to have been denied the chance to join Premier League outfits, Everton on loan over the summer.
