Man Utd on alert: South American manager wants Premier League return

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly turned down a number of offers in recent months as he waits to make a return to the Premier League.

The Argentine has been out of work since being axed from his position at the Spurs one year ago, a development which has led to frequent rumours regarding his next move.

While Manchester United have continually been rumoured with an approach, club officials have so far showed faith in the Norwegian head-coach, however, Solskjaer has bee in danger to lose his job if the Red Devils wont improve their game.

According to the Daily Mail, The Red Devils may soon have to change their stance if they regard Argentine tactician as an eventual replacement for the Norwegian.

The report claims that Pochettino is itching to begin another project, whether that be at Old Trafford or elsewhere in Europe.

The Red Devils are expected to stay with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the short term as the club attempt to qualify for the Champions League 1/16.

Man Utd are struggling in the Premier League as they sit 10th in the standings seven points separating them from Pochettino’s former club Tottenham Hotspur.
