Man Utd continue chase for Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho

Manchester United are reportedly still optimistic to finalise a deal for Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho.

The 20-year-old forward remains the Red Devils top transfer target despite rumours over his future having subsided a little in the coming weeks before the 2020/21 season takes start.

Dortmund have publicly declared that former Manchester City forward will not be departing from the club after the Red Devils missed their deadline to make a bid, while the German giants are refusing to lower £108m price tag.

The 20-times English champions have also baulked at the wage demands and agent fees involved in the deal, however, Sky Sports News suggested that they are still hopeful that an agreement can be reached that will satisfy both Dortmund and Manchester United.

Sancho is believed to be keen on to make a return to Manchester, however, is not planning ot hand in a transfer request and force Dortmund to sell him.

United’s first summer signing has been Dutch playmaker Donny van de Beek from Ajax and despite being quiet thus far Ed Woodward and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plan massive squad overhaul ahead of the next campaign.
