Man Utd and Liverpool eyeing move for in-form Salzburg forward
Red Bull Salzburg attacker Patson Daka may reportedly emerge as a shock summer transfer target for Man Utd and Liverpool.
Despite plying his trade in Austria, the 22-year-old attacker has established himself as one of the most highly-regarded talents in Europe.
The 22-year-old forward has found back of the net 23 times and provided five assists from just 19 league games this campaign.
According to the Daily Star, Man Utd and Liverpool could consider making an approach for the Zambia international forward this summer.
Salzburg are allegedly ready to part ways with their 22-year-old forward for £17m, a fee which will inevitably lead to bids being made over the coming months.
Teams from La Liga and the Bundesliga could also get involved if African forward opts to move to a bigger club.
Liverpool and Man Utd direct PL rivals Arsenal also considering a move for Daka as they see him perfect replacement to Alexandre Lacazette whose future remains up in the air at the Emirates Stadium.
Meanwhile, Liverpool and Man Utd may reportedly decide against making an approach for Serie A outfits Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic.
With just under 15 months left on his current deal, Serie A outfits are believed to be open to selling the Serbia international defender when the transfer window will be re-opened.
