Man United keeping close tabs with Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilon
Man United have reportedly launched a €30m offer to Real Madrid for defender Sergio Reguilon but the Spanish club will demand certain terms if they’re to allow the left-back to join the Red Devils. Spain international has emerged as the main transfer target for the Norwegian boss after enjoying a fantastic season last time out whilst on-loan with Sevilla.
Reguilon played a crucial role in his temporary side’s successes last campaign as the La Liga giants lifted the Europa League for a record sixth time. Sergio featured a total of 38 times in all tournaments last campaign and was directly involved in a fantastic eight goals.
It has been the young attacking defenders excellent form which has seen him become one of Europe’s most sought after full-backs, with Red Devils seemingly leading the chase. Los Blancos are happy to entertain Man United’s initial €30m offer but would demand that certain terms are inserted into any deal.
The report claims that the French tactician would demand that a 25% sell-on clause is factored into the transfer as well as including a first consideration option to buy. The report goes onto claim that another way Real Madrid would allow the 23-year-old defender to depart the Bernabeu would be if Red Devils took the left-back on loan with a future option to buy.
The Spanish outlet also claims that alongside Man United, Bianconeri and previous loan club Sevilla are also interested in acquiring the Spanish defender.
