Liverpool plotting move for in-demand South American forward

Entourage Martin Sendoa has stated that Liverpool are interested in landing Argentine youngster Facundo Farias.

The Reds have recently invested in the Colombia star Luis Diaz, while the Premier League giants are also known to be chasing the signature of Fabio Carvalho from Fulham.

However, it looks like the Merseyside outfit are eyeing up an approach for Boca Juniors transfer target Farias, who currently plies his trade for the Argentine top-flight Primera Division side Colon.

Speaking to TNT Futbol, Martin said: “I’m waiting for a video call from Liverpool. I have to talk to them because they want to buy him.

“No one has called me from either Boca or Colon. I know they were in Buenos Aires for Ramon Abila. If they contact me, we will make a decision. If Boca comes to buy and it suits them for the future of Facu and Colon, we will see.”

Facundo, a 19-year-old attacker, contributed three goals and three assists from 22 games during the recent season.

Elsewhere, Liverpool star Sadio Mane is allegedly open to a switch to Barcelona or Real Madrid this summer’s transfer window with the Senegal international ‘dreaming’ of playing in La Liga.

The report says that the former Southampton star has informed his representatives of his stance, and the Reds are yet to open ‘serious’ talks with him over a new deal.
