Liverpool keep a close eye on PSG centre-forward Kylian Mbapper
The Merseyside club have an open deal with star forwards Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firming that any one of the PL winners can leave provided they give suitable notice for the team to find a replacement. And Liverpool could use the sale of one of their star to fund a deal for PSG forward Kylian Mbappe.
France international has two years left on his current contract in Paris and wants to leave next summer. With a year left on his deal teams would expect to pay hugely less than his market value given the Ligue 1 giants could lose him on a free in 2022.
Kylian is interested in signing for only four teams with Man United, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona are the options the £180m player will choose from, according to a report.
The 21-year-old forward joined Parisians from Monaco in the summer of 2017, initialling addition for PSG on loan before the French giants permanently acquired his services the following campaign for £133m. Mbappe has been a revelation for PSG, scoring 90 goals and providing 51 assists in 124 games.
The French superstar and his Parisians team-mates will be back in action on Wednesday night, welcoming Metz to the Parc des Princes. Man United, meanwhile, will welcome Crystal Palace to Man United on the weekend evening.
Should Parisians be willing to let the World Cup winner leave the Paris, they’ll no doubt be inundated with bids for his services. Defending PL champions Reds have been linked with a move for Mbappe, who Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly a big supporter of.
