Liverpool could reportedly look to rekindle their interest in Spain and Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler.
His contract is set to expire in the summer of 2023, and without any renewal finalised with the Spanish outfit, he could leave in the summer.
According to a report from Gols Media, the Reds could make another swoop for him, after initially making contact in 2021.
The report also includes Juventus as a potential buyer, but a move to Jurgen Klopp’s side could be a welcome addition to the German coach’s team.
Carlos has mainly played as a central midfielder for Los Che but has also featured out wide.
The report states that the La Liga team have been trying to tie him down to a new deal ahead of next term, given the player has just one year left on his current contract.
However, discussions have not progressed and the star even turned down an extension in January to stay at his boyhood club.
The proposal was worth over £60,000 per week, but Carlos has deemed the contract as inadequate. And the Merseysiders could swoop in to steal Soler away from Valencia and bolster their own ranks.
