Liverpool keen on to agree deal for on-loan Wolves forward

Wolves are trying to turn Liverpool target Hee-chan Hwang’s loan move into a permanent deal in early 2022, the Mirror report.

He has made a brilliant start to life in the Premier League after signing for the Molineux men from RB Leipzig this summer.

Hwang has scored four goals in eight division outings and his all-round showings have also caught the eye at the Etihad and Anfield.

Both sides have had him watched multiple times, with Liverpool looking at stars who can provide competition and cover for Diogo Jota, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.

Wolves’ board are aware that admiring glances are being cast in the player’s direction and are keen to get Hee-chan snapped up at the midway point of his one-year loan to avoid any complications next year.

The 25-year-old South Korea international joined the German outfit last year from RB Salzburg after five seasons in Austria.

He is already a fan favourite at the West Midlands outfit, winning the vote for Wolves’ player of the month award for October.

The star has been a key part of the impressive start to life manager Bruno Lage has enjoyed since taking the reins at the club.
