Liverpool joined the race for prolific Dortmund midfielder

Liverpool reportedly have a better chance of landing Jude Bellingham than Manchester City in the future because the England international is a very emotional player.

That is according to BILD’s Sebastien Kolsberger, who thinks the midfielder will move back to his homeland at some point.

He is one of the rising stars of European football as Jude has continued his rapid development at Signal Iduna Park since joining in a £22.5 million deal from Birmingham City in the summer of 2020.

Jude’s now an established star for the German side and a member of the England roster, with 12 games to his name since his debut two years ago.

The Reds have regularly been associated over the last year, with the latest report saying that Jurgen Klopp is a big admirer and has targeted the youngster for a move to Anfield.

Manchester City, meantime, are yet to be mentioned, but that will likely change in the future if Jude continues to shine in the coming seasons.

Sebastien insists they are interested in him, although the side are unlikely to win the hunt against their fierce rivals.

“Jude is one of the future stars of the midfield, and all clubs want him,” Kolsberger told Bernabeu Digital.

“I think after a few years in Germany, he will return to England. Liverpool and Manchester City also want to sign him.

“But Jude is a very emotional player, which is why I think Liverpool have a better chance of signing him.”
