Liverpool determined to agree deal for West Ham United playmaker

Manchester City have allegedly joined Liverpool in the hunt to sign West Ham United forward and Liverpool target Jarrod Bowen, amid the Spain international Ferran Torres’s exit from the Etihad Stadium outfit.

It has been confirmed that Torres has joined Barcelona, for a fee of £45 million and due to this transfer, the Citizens are now looking for a replacement.

Jarrod has been a key figure in David Moyes’s side this season, netting five times while grabbing 10 assists in 27 appearances in all competitions, and the player has a long-term contract with the Irons running until June 2025.

According to a recent report by the Manchester Evening News, in spite of manager Pep Guardiola’s wealth of options in the final third of the pitch, Jarrod will be targeted to fill any void left by Ferran.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have also been linked with the attacker, who is sure to be wanted at the London Stadium outfit with the Hammers aiming for UEFA Europa League glory and potentially a top four finish in the PL.

The 25-year-old star joined West Ham United from Hull City in the winter of 2020 and has gone on to net 14 goals and provide 16 assists in 78 matches for the club.
