Liverpool continue chase for explosive Spanish forward

Liverpool head-coach Jurgen Klopp is reportedly determined to secure services of Adama Traore and lure him at Anfield next summer.

The Premier League defending champions were rumoured with the Spain international over the summer, however, the transfer window shut down already with the attacker still at Wolves.

The 24-year-old Spanish forward is yet to score or provide an assist in five appearances at club level this campaign, however, impressed last season, founding back of the net six times and provided 12 assists in 54 games in all competitions.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Mersyeside Reds are still interested in securing the services of the former Barcelona winger, although it is unclear whether the Reds will attempt to secure a deal in the January transfer window or wait till summer.

The report suggests that the Merseyside outfit would have to come up with an offer at least £63m to convince Wolves to part ways with their star player.

Traore, who has also played for Middlesbrough and Aston Villa in English football since departing from Camp Nou, has a deal at Molineux until the end of the 2022-23 season.
