La Liga giants in talks to sign 27-year-old creative Chelsea attacker

La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in securing the services of Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea this summer transfer window.

The Morocco international was bought from Dutch giants, Ajax in a £33.3m contract last year and initially made a positive start to his Stamford Bridge career.

However, the former Ajax forward progress has stalled since Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard in the winter and he has started just two games under the German manager.

Ziyech is believed to be considering his Chelsea future and, according to Fichajes, Atletico are prepared to offer him a route out of London.

It it is reported that the Spanish giants are expected to sell Vitolo at the end of the season and see Ziyech as a perfect addition to the club.

Ziyech, who signed a five-year contract with Chelsea upon his arrival, found back of the net 48 times and registered 82 assists in 165 games for Ajax between 2016 and 2020.

Ross Barkley has been also linked with a departure from the Stamford Bridge this summer after an impressive loan spell at Aston Villa he is expected to make his move permanent at Villa Park and the Blues value him at £36m.
