Chelsea eyeing move for 30-year-old Juventus defender

Chelsea and Manchester United could allegedly compete for the signature of Juventus full-back Alex Sandro during this summer’s transfer market.

The 30-year-old star has again been a regular for the Old Lady during the 2020-21 season, making 30 appearances across all competitions, contributing two goals and two assists in the process.

His future in Turin continues to be called into question, though, and Andrea Pirlo’s team are reported open to letting the Brazilian star leave in the upcoming market.

According to a report from TuttoJuve, the Blues remain interested in the South American, while the Red Devils are keeping a close eye on the developments surrounding the defender.

The report also states that Paris Saint-Germain are admirers of the former Porto youngster, who could potentially be available for a sum in the region of €20 million (£17 million).

Sandro has scored 13 goals and grabbed 29 assists in 228 matches for Juventus since joining the Italian giants from the Liga NOS giants in the summer transfer market of 2015.

Elsewhere, Borussia Dortmund will allegedly only allow Erling Braut Haaland to quit the club during this summer’s transfer market if they receive an offer of at least £150 million.

His future at BVB continues to be called into question, with the Blues, the Red Devils, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City among the clubs said to be keen on signing him.
