Arsenal offered 27-year-old full-back to Serie A giants
Serie A giants, AS Roma have reportedly been offered the chance to secure services of out-of-favour Arsenal full-back Sead Kolasinac.
The Bosnian is no longer the Gunners first-choice left-back following the emergence of Kieran Tierney at the North London club, while Rob Holding, David Luiz and Gabriel Magalhaes have often been preferred in the starting XI for Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Kolasinac was rumoured with a return to ex-club Schalke during the summer transfer window. however, ultimately stayed in North London, with his current deal set to end in 2022.
Now, according to Corriere dello Sport, the Gunners are happy to let Kolasinac depart and AS Roma have been offered the chance to secure the services of the 27-year-old, a proposal which Paulo Fonseca is seriously considering given Roma’s lack of options on the defensive end.
The Serie A giants only have two left-sided defenders they are able to call upon at this moment in time – Leonardo Spinazzola and 18-year-old Riccardo Calafiori.
Kolasinac has turned out 108 times for the North London club following his arrival back in 2017, founding back of the net five times along the way.
