Arsenal long-term target completes move to London rivals

Brentford forward  who has been a long-term transfer target for Arsenal and Chelsea in the summer Said Benrahma has reportedly finalised a medical at West Ham United, placing a move to the Hammers in severe done deal ahead of the deadline day in the transfer window.

West Ham have been heavily linked with a move for the Algeria international forward in recent days and are believed to have reached an £25m agreement with the Bees for his services.

However, according to The Mirror, Benrahma has joined the Hammers who now face a battle against the clock to keep the move alive.

The 25-year-old, who was rumoured with Arsenal and Chelsea earlier this summer, has scored twice in three games for his Championship club during the 2020-21 season.

Meanwhile,Arsenal head-coach Mikel Arteta was reportedly so determined to re-sign Spanish playmaker, Dani Ceballos back to the Emirates Stadium that he personally stepped in negotiations with Real Madrid to get the deal done.

Ceballos enjoyed an stunning second half of the last campaign on loan at the Emirates Stadium from La Liga giants, Real Madrid back in the 2019-20 season, forming an effective midfield partnership with Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka as the Gunners managed to claim the the FA Cup and Community Shield trophy.
