Arsenal keeping close tabs on 21-year-old Shakhtar forward ahead of January move
Arsenal are keen on signing Mykhaylo Mudryk, having made contacts on the forward side. There is competition from Everton for Ukraine international, with both teams keen on signing a wide winger before the transfer deadline. The London giants stay active in the market for a winger and a midfielder.
The Spanish manager recently reiterated that his squad was somewhat short in certain areas, and the Gunners are looking at options in the window to bolster his unit. Arsenal are nowhere close to completing any move now, but as has been their theme in this window, they could surprise everyone with a move out of the blue.
The Gunners are keen on bringing in a forward to cover Saka on the right wing. Recent reports claimed that the London giants’ move for Pedro Neto has stalled, but Mikel Arteta could still look for a new footballer. Wolves’ high asking price of over £50m was why the pursuit went cold.
Still, many believe bringing in a wide attacker stays an essential objective for Arsenal before the transfer deadline. The 21-year-old attacker has emerged on their radar, and the Gunners could make a late move.
Arsenal have not been in touch with Shakhtar Donetsk over a transfer but have spoken to the Ukrainian forward and his representatives to gauge their interest in moving to the London club. While Arsenal ponder over signing Mudryk, Everton have had a verbal offer worth €30m turned down by the Miners.
