Arsenal have apparently begun making moves ahead of the summer transfer market.
The Gunners have recently held discussions with Dutch side Feyenoord over the possibility of landing full-back Tyrell Malacia, CaughtOffside reports.
The 21-year-old joined Feyenoord’s youth sector all the way back in 2008.
Since arriving as a young boy, Tyrell has gone on to force his way through the side’s ranks and establish himself as a first-team regular.
After being awarded his competitive debut in the UEFA Champions League in 2017, the player has racked up 78 appearances, in all competitions.
In spite of nailing down his side’s left-back spot, the youngster has attracted the interest of some of Europe’s elite clubs, including Arsenal.
And now it has been reported that the Gunners’ hierarchy would like to land Malacia in the summer and have already started talks with his Eredivise side.
A transfer fee of around £8 million has been discussed with negotiations expected to continue throughout the summer.
Meantime, TodoFichajes.net reported that Arsenal had cast their eye upon Inter MIlan’s Achraf Hakimi with Hector Bellerin likely to leave the club at the end of the season.
I Nerazzurri only signed Hakimi from Real Madrid for €40m last summer but that won’t deter Arsenal as they bid for the 22-year-old star.
