The likes of Leeds United and Manchester City are also being linked with the Morrocan star by Eurosport, but it is a bit of a surprise to see Mikel Arteta’s side considering a swoop for another new right-back.
They only just purchased Takehiro Tomiyasu from Bologna in the summer, and he has made a strong start to life in North London, giving the side the upgrade they needed on the Spaniard Hector Bellerin, who was shipped out on loan to Real Betis for this season.
Noussair has impressed at de Joden and looks like the player could now do well to make the step up to an elite league, but it’ll be interesting to see which of these PL teams he ends up at.
The 24-year-old star will be a free agent at the end of this campaign, so it perhaps makes sense that the Gunners are tempted to seal a bargain deal, even if a new player on the right hand side of the defence isn’t a priority.
