Arsenal joined the race to sign highly-rated Serie A forward
Arsenal are reportedly among the Premier League sides chasing Inter Milan hot-shot Martin Satriano.
He has been earning rave reviews for I Nerazzurri at Primavera 1 level, having scored eight goals and grabbed six assists in just 18 games this season.
Martin’s goalscoring prowess and all-round play have brought the player on to the Gunners’ radar – though Chelsea and Manchester City are also monitoring his progress.
French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain and German club RB Leipzig are also closely checking his situation.
Due to the Italian outfit’s current financial situation, the board may be forced to sell some of their prized assets in the summer and that has alerted Satriano’s suitors.
Inter beat off interest from a host of Europe’s big guns to land Satriano from Nacional in his native Uruguay in the winter of 2020 and the talented attacker is widely regarded as a promising star.
Martin has yet to make his first-team debut for his side but is tipped to make his bow before the end of the season having been named in several matchday squads by Antonio Conte.
They have high hopes for Satriano, but Inter are bracing themselves for interest in the sought-after striker as several of the top clubs across the continent look to strengthen their attacking options this summer.
