Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah has reportedly turned down the club’s latest offer of a new contract.
The 22-year-old attacker is still waiting for his first game of the 2021-22 Premier League campaign, however, has found back of the net twice from two games in the EFL Cup.
Nketiah’s current deal with the Gunners is due to expire next summer, although Mikel Arteta has affirmed his desire to keep the forward on the books beyond 2022.
However, Sky Sports News reports that Nketiah has rebuffed the Gunners latest attempt to tie him down to fresh terms, with the ex-England Under-21 international frustrated at his lack of first-team minutes.
The likes of Borussia Monchengladbach, West Ham United and Leeds United have all been credited with an interest in Nketiah, who is free to talk to clubs elsewhere from January.
Nketiah has scored 15 goals in 67 appearances for the Gunners across all tournaments, five of which have come in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, yhe price of Arsenal transfer target Dusan Vlahovic could reportedly significantly drop in the 2022’s summer transfer window, it has been reported in Italy.
The attacker is wanted at as many as four English clubs, with the Gunners said to be keen on landing him in the winter transfer market.
Fiorentina are ready to sell Vlahovic in the middle of the term if they receive a sum north of the €70 million figure in January.
But according to Italian outlet Corriere della Sera, the asking price could drop notably if Vlahovic stays at La Viola until next summer.
