Arsenal handed massive blow in their pursuit of Real Madrid prodigy
Real Madrid reportedly have no intention of selling 22-year-old Norwegian midifelder, Martin Odegaard when the transfer window will be re-opened in the summer.
Having failed to make an impact during the first half of the campaign, Norway international was allowed to link up with the Gunners for the rest of the season.
The Norway international has impressed during his 13 games for the North London club, leading to rumours regarding a permanent move to the Emirates Stadium.
However, according to Marca, Real Madrid have no desire to cash in on the 22-year-old playmaker.
The report claims that the on loanee Gunners midifelder features in the club’s long-term plans alongside with young core Vinicius Junior, Federico Valverde and Rodrygo Goes.
Odegaard has just over two years left on his current deal at the Bernabeu and Spanish giants are in a good positions to negotiate about his future.
Meanwhile, Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly interested in securing the services of Red Bull Salzburg forward Patson Daka, and the player’s agent has now claimed “it’s time for a new challenge” giving the boost to Premier League giants.
Last month, Salzburger Nachrichten claimed that Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal all have shown interest in his signature.
The 22-year-old forward has been in stunning forward as he has managed to found back of the net 30 times and added 10 assists in 33 appearances for Salzburg this campaign.
