Arsenal eyeing move for West Ham United forward

Arsenal should launch an audacious move to sign West Ham forward Michail Antonio, who would make a ‘real difference’ to their’ attack.

That is according to former Arsenal star Kevin Campbell, who thinks the Jamaica striker would be ideal for the Emirates.

He has hit 55 goals in 192 games for the Hammers but Antonio has played all over the field and started life in the team as a right-back.

Michail’s now one of the most feared forwards in the league and although Campbell adds that West Ham would be ‘crazy’ to listen to proposals for him, he believes his old side should test the Irons’ resolve.

‘He could make a real difference [at Arsenal] but West Ham would never sell him. They would be crazy to sell him.’ he told the Highbury Squad YouTube channel.

Arteta wants to strengthen his frontline, with Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette likely to leave the Emirates at the end of the season.

The Gunners have been linked with an ambitious swoop for Manchester City and England forward Raheem Sterling, who the Citizens value at £45 million.

The Spaniard worked with the player at the Etihad and the struggling attacker credits Mikel with much of his improvement in the latest years.
