Arsenal considering move for highly-rated Real Sociedad forward

Arsenal may allegedly be prepared to lodge a bid for Real Sociedad centre-forward Alexander Isak at some point in the future.

The Gabon international  Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang currently remains as the Gunners’ frontline striker, in spite of his inconsistent form over the past one year.

He signed a new three-year contract last September but since then his brilliant form has somewhat cooled.

However, with less than two years left on his current deal, the board must start to contemplate a direct replacement for the 32-year-old club captain.

Football.london suggests that the north Londoners could look to sign the Swedish ace with the player continuing to attract new admirers.

While he has scored just one goal in all competitions this campaign, the 21-year-old netted 17 times in La Liga during the 2020-21term.

A potential stumbling block is the Spanish outfit extending their key man’s contract until June 2026 earlier this year.

Elsewhere, Juventus and Atletico Madrid have allegedly set their sights on Arsenal’s attacking sensation Bukayo Saka.

The 20-year-old Englishman has become an important player under Gunners manager Mikel Arteta and has also established himself as a starter under Gareth Southgate in his country’s national team set-up.

According to Calciomercato, I Bianconeri are set to battle Los Rojiblancos for the signing of Saka, who both sides have been keeping an eye on for a while.
