Roma expressed desire to sign Chelsea’s Belgian ace

Serie A giants Roma keen on Chelsea’s Charly Musonda after missing out on him in the summer.

The youngster attacking midfielder joined Real Betis on loan last January and then agreed to staying there for another season despite interest from Roma.

But, Musonda make his return to Cheksea two weeks ago after he battled to get a game at Betis.

The Blues chief Antonio Conte claimed last week he had yet to choose whether to send the Belgium Under-21 international on loan again.

And the Serie A side want Musonda on loan for the rest of the campaign with an option to buy him for £7m in the summer.

They want to sign him in now as Mohamed Salah is at the Africa Cup of Nations Cup with Egypt and Diego Perotti is damaged.

In other transfer reports, The Serie A giants are still interested in West Ham attacker Sofiane Feghouli.

Meanwhile, The club have submitted a transfer offer for Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu, according to reports.

It’s believed the Italian manager is in the market for an attacking midfielder after the Brazilian star Oscar finalised a club record £60million transfer to Chinese side Shanghai SIPG.
